Existential film-noir spy movie. With some serious attention to gore.

Slow build. Strong finish.

Gary Oldman is my favorite actor. The man is utterly believable.

This Tomas Alfredson film has many common elements with a Mamet film, in terms of cinematography, plot and character development, and pacing. And lots of legit spy jargon in the dialogue. The original Le Carre novel has been condensed awesomely into a sort of a Glengarry Glen Ross, but about espionage.
